One of the world’s leading and most admired designers, Chief Executive and Visionary Officer Kathy Davis’ mission to “Scatter Joy” not only defines her work that reaches more than 50 million consumers each year, but the mission of Kathy Davis Designs, Inc., the company that bears her name.

Embracing her lifelong dream for a career with creative freedom, Davis launched her company in 1990 which now operates under four brand names – Kathy Davis®; The Studio at Kathy Davis®; Portfolio – Kathy Davis Studios™; and Fred and Lorraine™. Today, her company continues to grow and flourish, recently announcing a partnership with American Greetings Corporation where Davis’ creations will be exclusively distributed across a broad range of product lines beginning in 2009.

Managing an extensive portfolio of more than 15,000 designs, Davis’ imaginative and whimsical style often depicts natural subjects coupled with simple and inspirational messages that feature soft watercolors to bright graphics.

Davis earned her Master’s degree in Art Education from Kutztown University and her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University. She currently resides in Horsham, Pa., with her family and a menagerie of pets.
